With all that said, let me talk about what you can eat. Do not miss your dark green leafy vegetables. Include fruits in your diet too as they are high in fiber. You can eat salads with your meals. Now you can still eat meat. I just recommend picking lean meat or having the fat removed from meat when you eat that. You can have yogurt for dessert if you really have a sweet tooth. That is a good option especially if you want to lose some weight. I also recommend drinking one teaspoon of apple cider vinegar mixed in one cup of water. That is really effective for weight loss.

Please bear in mind that you need to continually watch what you eat. It is alright to indulge in the food responsible for weight gain once in a while, but you should still continue to eat healthily as I mentioned in the previous paragraph. What really counts is consistency. Observing a healthy diet for just a month and returning to binging on highly processed foods and snacks will not help.

While it is necessary to eat healthily, exercise is also an option that you may consider. Hitting the gym for an intensive workout is not a must. In fact, you could go for a simple walk in the park every night. Jogging and swimming can help too. If you really do not have the time to have a walk in the park or go for a jog or swim, consider climbing up the stairs instead of taking the elevator to your apartment.

This will cut out a lot of the sugars, and if you drink regular soda, a lot of the calories as well. Try some flavored water or tea as a treat while getting more nutrients in and still getting a bit of tasty flavoring.

4. Find a Support Group

Losing weight on your own can be hard. You don’t have anyone to push you along, to encourage you to lose those few extra pounds, or to make sure you get to the gym. Find a friend, someone in your family, or even a local support group in your community to help you drop the weight even faster since you are being held accountable.
